The Japanese Type 41 75mm calvary gun was based on Type 38 75mm field gun but was lightened by about 30kg. It had a shorter barrel and an interrupted screw breech rather than the sliding wedge breech of the Type 38. The carriage has wooden wheels and a plain box trail much like the Type 38.
