The M2 / M101 105mm howitzer is one of the most successful guns ever produced. Built by the Rock Island Arsenal, it saw U.S. usage in WWII, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. At one point it was in service in 68 countries. In 1962 the M2 105mm howitzer was renamed the M101 105 mm howitzer.
