M1857 12-pounder 'Napoleon' bronze field gun

The 4.62 inch caliber smoothbore M1857 12-pounder bronze field gun was in service with the U.S. Army from 1857 into the late 1870s.  It was the most widely used field gun of the Civil War.  The 72.6 inch long barrel was made by several manufacturers.
