M1844 24-pdr. flank howitzer in Mt. Horeb, WI

This iron Civil War cannon is located in Boecks Park along Park Street.

The barrel measures approx. 69.25 inches long and was made by Cyrus Alger & Co. of Boston, Massachusetts in 1846.
