(West) M1844 24-pdr. flank howitzer in Milwaukee, WI

This iron Civil War cannon is one of four M1844 24-pdr flank howitzers at the Wood National Cemetery. This page shows the one pointing West from the monument.

It was made by Cyrus Alger & Co. of Boston, Massachusetts in 1846.
