M110 self-propelled howitzer

The M110 provided accurate, long-range artillery fire but had no armored hull protecting the crew.  The M110 served in the Vietnam War and the Persian Gulf War.  The M110, with a M-2A1E1 gun, was introduced in 1962. The updated M110A2, with a longer barrel XM-201 gun, was introduced in the 1980s.  Both guns are 8-inch (203 mm).
